The power of human rights is now at people's fingertips

New technologies – such as social media and mobile Internet – have fundamentally changed how we expose and respond to human rights abuses. Today when the world is at everybody’s fingertips via digital devices, anyone can be a human rights monitor and challenge the abuse of power.

Join us at this event where you will meet Amnesty International representatives and learn how the organisation is harnessing the power of the collective to shed light on human rights abuses worldwide.

About this event

At this event we will present innovative digital activism projects that contribute to ground-breaking human rights research. The projects are part of Amnesty’s Alt Click project funded by the Swedish Postcode Lottery.

The event is free of charge and open for anyone interested in human rights, digital activism and new technologies. Register before midnight on 23 October.

Please note that all presentations will be delivered in English.
